The militia shield extenders are not benifiting from the shield enhancements skill passive affect.
I have shield enhancements skilled to LV4 which should give me a 12% reduction to CPU consumption of all shield modules.
CPU consumption of the militia shield extender, without passive modification, is 23 CPU
CPU consumption of the militia shield extender, with LV 4 shield enhancements passive modification, should be 20.24.
The passive affect of shield enhancements is not being taken into account by the dropsuit CPU consumption calculator in regard to the militia shield extender. Instead, it is registering the full 23 CPU.
I would like to here a response from someone on this mater in order to make sure someone at CCP has made note of this bug. I will keep bumping this thread until I do. |

Try removing the offending mod, and comparing the CPU and PG numbers on the fitting edit screen. If I'm right, the amount the PG/CPU numbers change by should be less than the base numbers in the description.
Of course, it's possible that the skills don't affect the militia gear, whether intended or not.
Did you have trouble comprehending my post? Do you take me for some newbarry fool, who can't tell his kitten from a hole in the wall? The problem is exactly as I have stated. There is no "oh, well maybe it's this" or "could possiblely be this". I have tested every conceivable avenue of thought, where this problem is concerned. Now if you don't mind. Let the grownups talk. |

I'm inclined to believe this also, because militia gear does not have any requirements.
That is not what the description for the passive affect of shield enhancements states. If this were true then it would say "modules requiring the shield enhancement skill" like the others do. Now whether or not there was a clerical error on CCP's part remains to be seen. Regardless, there IS none-the-less a problem: THE SKILL IS NOT FUNCTIONING AS DISCRIBED. I don't know how to make it any clearer than that. |

The quantity of documentation that is not accurate nor clearly states what benefits are included in DUST would fill ... a book. However, we have posted and things have been fixed but the documentation stays the same, at least as far as I can recall.
Would you mind sitting at the Adult table long enough to let us explain to you how some of these things work? Thanks ever so much.
You're not half as good at put'n the smack down on the beaoches as I am, so please, just stop trying.
Quote limitation:
KalOfTheRathi wrote:1. There are No Requirements for Militia Gear.
2. The documentation says it will reduce the CPU usage to Any Module That Requires the Skill.
3. Which reads to the DUST players that have been here for sometime suggests that it might be working as designed.
4. Militia Gear uses more CPU/PG. Even level 1 of some gear uses less.
5. To most of us, having something Skilled to lvl 4 does not mean we would be using Militia Gear.
1. And your point here is what exactly?
2. It, in fact, did not, as CLEARLY stated in my last post. Looks like we've got another one with a comprehension problem.
3. Clearly it does not, as I happen to be one of those players. FAIL
4. I fail to see what relevance this has to anything currently under discussion. Yet another Fail.
5. Apparently, you're not a big fan of making ISK, but please, don't presume to speak for others, especially, when by experience, I know you to be absolutely wrong here.
KalOfTheRathi wrote:If you want CCP/Shanghai to notice this than [Bug] should lead your Subject Line.
Right, because that is SO necessary in the bug reporting section of the forums.
KalOfTheRathi wrote:You expecting a personal reply to a minor issue regarding Militia Gear is the height of entitlement. Although, in your case Kitten, the direction seems to be headed in the opposite direction.
Oh forgive me! You are so right. It is far to much to ask of these obvious gods among men to grace us with the solitary word "NOTED". Whatever was I thinking. My most humble apologies. Please forgive me. \sarcasum off

Was posted as a bug, intended for those who can correct the issue. I never asked for any opinions from the peanut gallery. |
